The Summer Break Program at Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero (UNTREF) offers international students a unique opportunity to experience Argentina’s academic and cultural life during the southern hemisphere’s summer.
Over the course of five weeks, participants take courses mainly taught in English by distinguished professors, while engaging in an immersive cultural experience that includes tango, chacarera, cooking and mate classes, as well as workshops on Argentine history and culture.
The program also features field trips, city tours, and interactive activities with local students, encouraging participants to experience the richness of Argentine culture firsthand.
Located in Buenos Aires, UNTREF stands out for its commitment to social inclusion, cultural diversity, and academic innovation. The university offers unique degree programs not found in other Argentine institutions—and in some cases, in only a few places in the world—making it an ideal environment for interdisciplinary learning and reflection from a Latin American perspective.
