The Faculty-Led Programs at Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero (UNTREF) are designed for professors and academic leaders who wish to bring a group of students abroad for a short-term, customized educational experience in Argentina.
Each program is tailored to the academic profile, interests, and objectives of the visiting institution. UNTREF works closely with faculty to co-design the program content, combining lectures, seminars, workshops, and field visits that best align with the students’ area of study — from social sciences, communication, international relations, and business to audiovisual production, electronic arts, nursing or environmental engineering.
Programs can include academic sessions, applied projects, or collaborative workshops with UNTREF professors and local professionals, offering a unique opportunity to explore topics from both a theoretical and practical perspective.
In addition to the academic component, participants engage in cultural immersion activities such as tango, cooking, and mate classes, as well as guided tours and exchanges with local students — providing a genuine insight into Argentine and Latin American culture.
Located in Buenos Aires, UNTREF stands out for its interdisciplinary approach, social commitment, and innovative academic offerings — including degree programs that are unique in Argentina and in few places around the world.
Whether for one week or several, each Faculty-Led Program is an opportunity for institutions to expand their global partnerships and for students to gain first-hand experience of Argentina’s academic and cultural landscape.
